2- Our dear friend Amanda Martinez is launching her newest CD Release “Libre” w/ special guest Donne Roberts at the Toronto Jazz Festival

For those of you keeping track, you will know that Drew Birston, our bass player in Sultans of String, is Amanda’s husband and bass player as well. 4- Our fundraiser continues for our new album REFUGE, and thanks to your generous contributions, we are over 80% to our goal!  If you have been interested in taking part in this historic recording, now is a great time to click over to the site and consider pre-ordering a CD. If we reach our goal they reward us by keeping our page open for another six months!

So far the studio has been filled with the music of Ojibwe Elder Duke Redbird, Twin Flames, Robi Botos, Anwar Khurshid, Donne Roberts, Michel DeQuevedo, Ifrah Mansour, Edmar Castaneda and the legendary Sammy Figueroa, recorded with JUNO Award winning co-producer John ‘Beetle’ Bailey!
