Producers of the Year at the CFMAs with Refuge album!!

Oh gosh! John Bailey and I won Producers of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards with our Refuge album!!

Thanks a million to fellow band-members, Kevin Laliberte, Eddie Paton, Drew Birston, Rosendo Chendy Leon, and all the incredible collaborators on this epic record. And of course to fantastic co-producer John Bailey for his mad skills and brain! And shout out to Selçuk Suna for connecting us and helping produce the sessions with our Turkish string section!
Refuge is a collection of stories, accounts and reflections of personal experiences of our collaborators expressed in music, many of them new immigrants or refugees. Lauded in their home countries, these brilliant musicians share their fascinating and harrowing journeys to Canada and the US. These daring musicians from Iran, Syria, Colombia, Iraq, Hungary and Pakistan, have escaped death threats, civil wars, brutal regimes and discrimination to rebuild their lives in North America.
