Refuge on Tour! Mississauga, Aurora, Brantford and beyond…
Hello everyone!
As deportation threats loom over immigrants and refugees in our neighbour country to the south, our Canadian stages can become a sanctuary of sound. Sultans of String’s REFUGE isn’t just a concert—it’s a musical manifesto championing diversity and highlighting the indispensable role that new Canadians play in society.
Concerts feature various guests including Leen Hamo, Majd Sukar, Donné Roberts, Saskia Tomkins, Padideh Ahrarnejad, Alberto Suarez, Alyssa Delbaere-Sawchuk, Tamar Ilana and more! (See calendars for details)

Based on the CFMA-winning REFUGE CD, and documentary film that won Best Music Film at the Cannes World Film Festival, Billboard-charting Sultans of String bring their unique brand of musical synergy and collaboration like never before with their most ambitious, diverse, and passionately inclusive project. Led by Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal recipient Chris McKhool, the band collaborates with artists from around the globe, who have fled the peril and persecution of their homelands for the safer shores of North America.
Looking forward to sharing these incredible artists with you!
