Hello everyone and I hope you are catching some rest over the holidays :)

Across cultures and traditions, people have created so many meaningful and beautiful ways to mark this season. At a time when the world sometimes feels heavy, rituals can ground us. They remind us that we belong to one another, that community matters, and that we are part of something far larger than ourselves.

I hope this season offers you comfort, resilience, and inspiration through ritual and story. Here’s to the turning of the Earth, the returning strength of the sun, the promise of a new year, and all those who labour toward greater peace, justice, and joy.

SULTANS ON TOUR

FOR KIDS – THE ROM

For kids and families, we are performing at The ROM all this week, featuring Free General Admission for kids 17 years and under!  We perform every day till Friday in the ROM Theatre, with sets at 2:30 and 4:00 daily.  The ROM is a partner in the Canada Strong Pass program, and until January 15, 2026, visitors up to 17 years old will receive free ROM General Admission, and those aged 18 to 24 receive 50% off General Admission. No pass or promo code is required. Simply book your tickets online for a visit within the CSP date range, and they take care of the rest!

Thanks to everyone who helped make our sold-out Christmas Caravan tour a smash success!  And special thanks to those who contributed to our Sultans of String UNHCR Donation Fund! We raised another $1269 last weekend, money that goes directly to supporting clean water, medical supplies, shelter and food aid to the tens of millions of displaced people in the world.
