Happy Earth Day Videos!

Happy Earth Day friends! Today is one of my favourite days of the year. Seeing the Earth from space last month is a good reminder of what a miracle it is to be able to live on our “spaceship Earth” spinning around in infinite space, with its incredibly small atmosphere that supports all life. Earth’s magnetic field repels solar wind, a constant stream of high-energy charged particles ejected by the Sun. This invisible shield deflects these particles around the planet, protecting the atmosphere and ozone layer from being stripped away.

This is a good day to remind those around us, especially children, to look up from our devices, go outside, and “Touch Grass”, to remind ourselves of our connection to plants and animals.
