2026 JUNO Award Nomination for Chris & Upcoming Events…
Hello! I hope you are well and staying warm!
JUNO AWARDS!!
I’m excited to share that my new Family Music album LITTLE LEAF has been nominated for a JUNO Award for Children’s Album of the Year!
The JUNO Awards celebrate the richness of Canada’s music community, and it means so much to have LITTLE LEAF recognized alongside such wonderful peers.
Heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to bringing this album to life, especially fellow poets and songwriters Elder Duke Redbird, Bing Jensen, David Archibald, and the late JP Harrison and Bill Staines.
This album features amazing performances by my pals in Sultans of String, guitarist Kevin Laliberte who co-produced along with me and John Bailey, Drew Birston on bass, and Saskia Tomkins on fiddle, and we will be performing at JUNOfest at The JUNO Awards next month in Hamilton!
Also to celebrate, we are hosting a JUNO celebration Family concert on March 6 in Toronto – admission is free with registration! Dubbed pizza and pyjamas, we are serving complimentary pizza as well! Come join us – registration at this link https://FreeFamilyShow.eventbrite.ca
