Big week for culture in Burlington, Ottawa, and beyond!
Hello folks, and welcome to new subscribers! We have some fun shows this week and beyond to share with you!
THURS. SEPT 24, 6:00 pm – OTTAWA
For our Ottawa friends, come and discover Walking Through the Fire and Sultans of String in this intimate concert at the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health. This is a fundraising event for their programming and it is to help mark the upcoming Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Sultans of String have collaborated with several Indigenous artists to bring stories to light through music. Come and be in an incredible space, learn more through music and be inspired or moved by a powerful evening of song along with Shannon Thunderbird, Marc Meriläinen and Alyssa Katrine!
Doors open at 5:30 pm
Concert starts at 6 pm.

SAT. SEPT 26, 1:00-4:00 pm – BURLINGTON for Kids –
Drop in from 1-4 in the afternoon when we are celebrating BPACs 15th Anniversary Season with new songs for kids and families, entirely free! Check out WANDER at Burlington Performing Arts Centre!
We are going to play new songs from my upcoming Global Dance Party album, with a concert at the loading docking in the rear of the building! 440 Locust Street, Burlington ON, L7S 1T7
Come learn some new dance moves and play some percussion instruments with the band, and all of BPAC will come alive with dance, music, acrobatics, visual art, spoken word, interactive installations and surprising artistic encounters.

And from 7-10pm on Saturday we are playing one Sultans of String song as part of an incredible night! WANDER – Art in Unexpected Places, BPAC’s 15th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser.
Celebrate 15 years of BPAC and experience the Centre in ways you’ve never seen it before.
WANDER opens up BPAC in a completely different way. Guests will be led on specially curated tours into unexpected spaces throughout the building, encountering more than 30 artists along the way.
Discover fire and circus, dance and live music, immersive sound and visual art, an orchestra created with cellphones, roaming magic, and artistic surprises around every corner.
